Valentine's Day Chair Bags

This was the new project I worked on last week. They are little backpacks that are lined. I love them! I made one for myself and Dave, so we could put our Valentines to each other in them. They turned out even cuter than I imagined! Next year, I will have them up all of February so we can put little "love notes" in them all month long. Livie loves to wear hers around the house. Large Foam Blocks

The hardest part about this project was her name and the flowers. I gave the blocks to her for her birthday. I made some for party favors, too. The kids loved playing with them. Livie loves to build towers and hide in them. They don't look very big in the picture (and I wish I could have found bigger foam) but they are 5 in cubes. Except for the rectangles of course! They are 5x15. Much cheaper than trying to buy them! I looked online and the cheapest I could find were $80 for 8! For these plus the party favor ones (about 30 including the rectangles) I paid $45.

Valentine's Day Clippies

Here are the 2010 Valentine's Day clippies for Olivia's hair. I made them really early this year, so we'll see if they end up being the only ones. I usually make other things if I start the holiday too early! They do look super cute in her hair and they were easy to make (what a plus!)

Red

I made this one for Christmas, but didn't want it to be a one time wear. So I didn't use green and red. Now this one can double for Valentines Day.

The Beginning

I have decided to start this blog so I can keep track of the crafty things I have been doing. I love to do different things and get bored, rather quickly, when I am not doing something new. Feel free to ask questions, post comments, sugestions or new ideas.
